–Mark Harris, author of Pictures at a Revolution: Five Movies and the Birth of the New Hollywood, a 2009 Notable Books List selection
–Peter Manseau, author of Songs for the Butcher’s Daughter, winner of the 2009 Sophie Brody Medal
Whether you’re a readers’ advisory librarian, a book-loving librarian, or simply someone who wants to hear from some of the best authors of 2009, this event is a great way to start your Sunday morning.

The breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday, July 12 in the Red Lacquer Room of the Palmer House Hilton, 17 E. Monroe Street, Chicago. Authors read from their work, ruminate on writing and sign books, while attendees enjoy a scrumptious breakfast.
Tickets are priced as follows: RUSA member, $45; ALA member, $50; Non-member, $60; Student, $45
